Pre-Tour 7 Notes

This is probably the right time for you to begin to encourage your group to prayerfully consider opening up their own homes to lead an Engagement Project—or, if appropriate, to lead the Truth Project first and then EP. Hopefully, you have been praying this for them from the beginning, but it is appropriate, now that they have gone through seven tours, to openly ask them to pray about it for themselves. This is the way God multiplied the Truth Project to believers all over the world and I believe it will be the same for EP. You may want to remind them of the vision we talked about earlier—what if every committed Christian family began to engage those neighbors that were providentially around them? The Body of Christ would be engaging our entire population. Yes, this is a US example, but it is a great illustration of how the Lord multiplied Christianity so rapidly in the beginning and what desperately needs to happen again in our days.

We have included a "post-tour" note to them about this, but it would be better for you to mention it. Describe this vision to them again and also remind them that this is the way God works, multiplying, through His people, to fill the earth. If they open their home and take other believers through these tours so that those would, in turn, take others, then we might, by God’s grace and mercy, begin to see the Body of Christ fulfill what the Lord has asked us all to do.
