Introduction

We continue with what we began this morning- "traditions". We discussed traditions that are man made. Not all traditions are from man.

  1. Hold the traditions (2nd Thess. 2:15; 3:6)

    1. You were taught

    2. By word or epistle

    3. Verse 15 begins with "Therefore".

      1. Need to see what is before this

      2. In chapter 1 he speaks when Jesus appears

      3. That Day will not come unless a falling comes first. (2nd Thess. 2:1-14)

  2. Walks not according to the tradition received (2nd Thess. 3:6)

    1. Changing when to take the Lord’s supper (Acts 20:7)

    2. Taking the collection (1st Cor.16:1,2)

    3. Living the type of life style that is unholy.

  3. Worship in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24)

Conclusion:

Following the faith (system of faith) we will be holding the traditions taught by the apostles.
