GOD AS WITNESS
Introduction:
Going into the Job Corps, wondered if the Lord’s church would be close. As it turned out, there were a half dozen congregations near the Job Corps Center. Did someone know?

God searches and knows me. (Psalm 139:1-6)

Understand my thoughts afar off (vs. 2)

Acquainted with all my ways. (vs. 3)

Sitting down and rising up. (vs. 2)

Knows my path and lying down. (vs. 3)

Knows what I speak. (vs. 4)

Protects (vs. 5)

Such knowledge is too wonderful and high. (vs. 6)

Where can I go from your Spirit? (Psalm 139:7-12)

Where can I flee from your presence. (vss.7-9)

If I take the wings of the morning. (vs.9)

Dwell in the utter most parts of sea. (vs. 9)

Your hand shall lead me. (vs. 10)

Your right hand shall hold me. (vs. 10)

Darkness shall be light about me. (vs.11)

Shall not hide from you. (vs. 12)

Night shines as day. (vs. 12)

God sees, hears, and knows (Eze. 8:12; Ex.3:7)

What the elders do in the dark. (Eze. 8:12; Matt. 6:1-4)

God witnessed what was happening to His people (Ex.3:7)

He saw their oppression

Heard their cry.

Knew their sorrows

Conclusion:
We accept men’s testimony. God’s testimony is greater. (1st. John 5:9,10)
