IN CONCLUSION:

In concluding our study of what the Spirit means to the Christian today, let us attempt to summarize all that we have said. Just what does the Spirit provide for the Christian and the Church?

A MESSAGE: You know brothers and sisters, most of the preaching we hear today lacks the power to change lives. Many times, it boils down to opinion, prejudice, trivialities, in other words, it is moved around the periphery and not penetrating into the core of the problem. Much of the message in the pulpits today is but an expression of the doubts and questionings of pulpit ministers. It is considered unintellectual in some certain groups. Many of the sermons preached today are irrelevant, spending time answering questions which no one is asking or discussing problems which are remote the ears of the hearers. Zechariah 4:6

Paul describes it all in one passage:

But you, abide in the things which you have learned and were entrusted with, having known from whom you have learned them. And you have known, that from a baby, the sacred Scriptures which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God

Nothing other than the Spirits word and his power behind it is needed n any pulpit in any church in any country or land in the whole world today or any other day.
