A Word From Mike Mathis

In the 15th chapter of Luke Jesus tells of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son (the prodigal son). As the man who searched for his sheep and the woman looked for the lost coin, they rejoiced when each was found, so joy is in heaven in the presence of the angels of God. And the lost son received a reception he didn’t expect. His father was looking for him and ran to him, fell on him, and kissed him. This is to show how God is eagerly waiting for the sinner to repent and when he or she does there is joy in heaven.
