Depend Entirely Upon God’s Divine Intervention
Psalms 106 reflects on the history of Israel’s interaction with God. Israel would often turn to the worship of idols and superstition, seeking help in their time of need. As we know, God told them that there was to be no other gods and that they were to trust in Him. The lesson to be learned is that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob does not want to share His glory with "lady luck, happen chance or any idol." We are to depend entirely upon God’s divine intervention to meet our needs. In today’s life man often turns to the lottery or some form of chance and then say "God blessed them." NOT.
